Shogun's Path redefines the SLG (Simulation Game) genre by stripping away unnecessary UI clutter and focusing on core tactical decision-making. Set in a stylized Sengoku-era Japan, players manage resources, negotiate alliances, and command troops across a living ink-wash map.

The "First Siege" Interaction
How a new user initiates their first territorial expansion without a tutorial prompt. We used visual weight and seasonal color cues to guide the user's eye toward strategic weaknesses.

Instead of red flashing icons, the ink-wash terrain physically fades and desaturates when resources are mismanaged, creating a psychological urge for restoration.
